Welcome to a study of potential I-55 improvements at Airport Road/Lockport Street and at Illinois Route 126
The Villages of Romeoville, Bolingbrook and Plainfield, along with IDOT, will lead the Phase I Study and Planning process in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Stakeholder outreach efforts will be performed by the consultant team to ensure the users of I-55 and the surrounding roadway network have the opportunity for meaningful input into the project’s development.

Interested persons may attend anytime between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Exhibits will be on display and an audio-visual presentation will be shown continuously during the hearing. Project team members will be present to discuss the project and answer questions. A court reporter will be available for those wishing to make a verbal statement at the hearing.
